Alhambra blooms and builds

Picture Alhambra: Portraits of the City of Alhambra and its people.

Progress in Alhambra is measured in a number of ways – blossoming flowers, new businesses, and the changing of the seasons just to name a few. This week we have three images from Alhambra resident Michelle Brenhaug, put together in a triptych to compare colors, shapes, structure and nature.

The photo: Tree branches at Almansor Park, blossoming cherry blossoms along Chapel Avenue and the space between the parking structure and the Edwards Renaissance at the Alhambra Mosaic.

“When I see a view that catches my eye, I like to capture it,” says Brenhaug. “I love this community and have experienced a lot here. There is so much beauty here and it makes me happy to take pictures that show it.”

The photographer: When Michelle Brenhaug walks around Alhambra she likes to capture images on her camera phone. She’s an aerospace engineer and a proud mother of a 2-year-old.

Michelle sent her images to us via our inbox. Send your images to [email protected]
