I’m a lifelong resident of Alhambra and having a local newspaper, like Alhambra Source, is very important to me. It’s the only way to know the issues that will directly affect my day to day, where I live. That’s why I decided to support Alhambra Source with a monthly donation.

Efren Moreno, Former Alhambra Mayor

  1. I would love to see that tunnel getting built ASAP. Ironically, this will HELP the people who are most opposed to it – the people of South Pasadena.

Right now South Pasadena is a mess with traffic on their streets because people are forced to get off at Valley in Alhambra and then work their way north.

If they charge tolls to use the FREEway, then I would be opposed to this and I would vote to throw any politician out of office that supports the idea. Charging people to use a freeway is like making you pay for food on a cruise ship. It just should not happen.
