3 arrested in Alhambra after road rage incident involving baseball bat and machete

Two men and a woman were arrested Tuesday in Alhambra after a road rage incident on Garfield Avenue involving a baseball bat and machete, the Pasadena Star-News reports.

Hong Ki Yoon of San Gabriel and Jose Enrique Guido of Montebello were driving their vehicles north in Monterey Park when one cut the other off, Sgt. Jerry Johnson of the Alhambra Police Department told the Star-News. When they reached Mission Road in Alhambra, Christina Estrada of Montebello threw a soda cup at Yoon's car.

At Beacon Street, both drivers exited their vehicles. Yoon took out a baseball bat while Guido had a machete. Officers immediately responded, and the men were arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, while Estrada was arrested for battery on a police officer, resisting an officer, and throwing a beverage at a car, according to the Star-News.
