Announcing our Summer Photo Challenge winners

Alhambra Source's Summer Photo Challenge has come to a close and we're excited to announce the winners and share some of our favorite images. The theme was leisure time in Alhambra: Images that evoke a sense of calm, serenity, and all the good that comes from summer.
The top three images that received the combined most votes and Facebook likes are Kevin Lam's "Uncaged Flight" in 1st place with 50 votes, Christen Lee's "Bicyclist on Main" in 2nd place with 34 votes and Kevin Hu's "Sunset at Almansor Park" in 3rd place with 29 votes.
We have also selected a few of our favorite images that did not receive top votes, but we thought deserved to be there: Aimee Rodriquez's summer sunset and Timmy Truong's bicyclist in action.
Winners will receive an original Alhambra Source t-shirt designed by Jee-Shaun Wang and hand silkscreened by our staff. We will also be featuring our winning images in an upcoming exhibit in Alhambra. More details to follow.
Thanks for your images and votes. But wait! There's more. Continue sending us your images of Alhambra! You can email all photos to photos@alhambrasource.org.
We're also revamping our Flickr page and want to see your feed and sets, even if they're not of Alhambra. Check out the Alhambra Source photo group and feed, where you can find more images from our stories.
