Tree planting, 70s funk jams and shiny owls: The Alhambra Eco Fair in pictures
































Mother Nature bestowed a clear, 80-degree day for the Eco Fair last Saturday at Alhambra Park. Visitors queued up at booths for free totes and pamphlets with tips on water conservation. Food trucks lined up on the curb of Palm Street to dole out ice cream and grilled cheese sandwiches. The one anomaly? A shimmering mascot that looked like a cross between an owl and a bluebird.
