Suspect escapes from Alhambra Courthouse *Updated

A probation violation suspect who escaped from the Alhambra Courthouse on Thursday afternoon, was located, according to the Alhambra Police Department.
The Sheriff's Department called on the APD for assistance at 3:11 after the suspect ran when the judge ordered him placed in custody. By 3:35 the suspect was apprehended and gave up peacefully.

A parole probation violation suspect escaped from the Alhambra Courthouse on Thursday afternoon, according to the Alhambra Police Department.
A little after 3:00 pm on Thursday afternoon, the suspect was brought to court on a violation of a parole hearing. He managed to escape from sheriffs and has ran out to the neighboring areas of the court house. Police units are scattered around the area looking for the suspect and the APD has advised residents to stay inside, lock all doors, and not open them unless certain the visitor is a law enforcement officer.
Police have not yet released information regarding the suspect's identity.
