Police ask for help identifying Alhambra bank robber

A bank robbery occurred at Bank of the West, located at 855 W Valley Blvd in Alhambra, on Saturday, September 8 at 9:58am, according to the Alhambra Police Department:
The suspect entered the bank and handed the teller a note, while verbally demanding money. The teller complied with the suspect’s demands and gave him money. The suspect left the bank with the loss. No one was injured during the commission of the crime and no weapons were seen. The suspect is described as a male, African American, in his mid to late 20’s, approximately 5’ 08” tall and weighing 175 pounds. The closed circuit cameras in the bank were able to capture several clear images of the suspect during the robbery.
The Alhambra Police Department is asking the public to help identify the suspect, seen in the photos below. If anyone has any information regarding the suspect’s identity, they can call Detective Sergeant J. Flannagan at (626) 570-5161. Tips can be left anonymously.
