Calm after the storm over Alhambra

For a moment on Thursday, the rains cleared in Alhambra and the sun was almost visible. Carolyn Alejandra Ramirez grabbed her phone while taking a walk and posted on Instagram this shot of luminous clouds that rolled in over Ahambra High School. The clouds returned Friday to the San Gabriel Valley, but the forecast shows a slight clearing up of the skies around 5 p.m.
