The World Journal (世界日报) reports on the reception for a photography exhibition by the 8-year-old American Asian Photographic Salon (美亞沙龍攝影家協會) last Tuesday at City Hall. Seventy photographs will be displayed in the exhibition, attracting photography-loving visitors in the area, according to the article.

The exhibition will begin in September at Alhambra City Hall.

The organization's president told the Journal that it currently has more than 400 members; most of them are of Chinese heritage but increasingly more photographers of Korean, Philippines, and Vietnamese heritage are joining. The members meet weekly in Temple City and travel domestically and internationally together to take photos. The association holds at least one exhibition each year.
