Alhambra city manager may get job offer from Santa Clara
Alhambra City Manager Julio Fuentes is being considered for a "similar job" in Santa Clara, Pasadena Star-News reports. Fuentes, who has been city manager for more than 20 years, told the Star-News that he does not have an official job offer but that Santa Clara is in the process of completing background work and researching him for the job.
Mayor Barbara Messina told the Star-News that City Council would miss Fuentes if he left. Since Fuentes does not have an official offer, council has not yet discussed who would replace him.

Post a commentThe Santa Clara City Council was scheduled to approve Julio Fuentes's contract at Tuesday night's meeting. http://www.pasadenastarnews.com/news/ci_22117760/santa-clara-council-vot...

Presuming Mr. Fuentes got the job up north - the contract is already drawn up and just needs the council's approval - the big question now is who will Alhambra hire to replace him. Hopefully we get strong candidates considering the City's good balance sheet.
