Look@Alhambra: Portraits of the City of Alhambra and the people who go about their lives here.

The photo: Last year the former library and Edwards Atlantic Cinema were demolished to make way for new develoments. In the midst of the bulldozing and construction, some Alhambra standbys remain – such as the mulitlingual Alhambra Beauty College on 2nd Street which received its accreditation in 1978. Stephanie Ho took a walk with friends down Main Street on New Years Day and snapped this shot.

The photographer: “I love photography and photographers for the moments they capture in a day in a life,” said Ho. Stephanie Ho is an alumna of the University of California, Irvine where she studied Environmental Science and she's working on a masters of Marine Biology at the University of Southern California.

Stephanie Ho shot this image with a Canon EOS 10D. We found her image waiting for us in our inbox.
