On the agenda: Strategic plan for Alhambra's goals

Alhambra City Council meets Monday night and city staff will present an update of the strategic plan including three-year objectives and six-month goals for the city. Items on the consent agenda include approval of an agreement with the Los Angeles County Department of Public Works for the Traffic Signal Synchronization Program (TSSP); and authorization to circulate a Notice Inviting Bids for the Midwick Tract Street Improvement Project. They will also present commendations to the recipients of the Alhambra Beautiful Awards.

City staff will also present their Master Plan concept for the proposed Atherton Baptist Homes retirement community. Other items on the agenda include requests to continue services such as the home delivered meals program for seniors, as well as the School Resource Officers program, which designates three police officers and one narcotics detecting police dog for the Alhambra Unified School District.
