On the Agenda: Replace Almansor Park playground and repair other park facilities

Alhambra City Council meets on Monday night and will consider several recommendations for park facility repairs. Items on the agenda include requests to replace the roofs at the Almansor Court golf complex, install new playground equipment at Almansor Park that would have separate play areas for younger children, and repair the sewer lines at the Granada Park Pool Complex for the sum of $18,500 appropriated from park improvement funds.
City staff will also request that the Council authorizes the purchase of eight Thermal Imaging Cameras for the Alhambra Fire Department engines. The Fire Department is allocated $80,550 for new equipment, such as the cameras, which help firefighters to see through smoke.
City Council meets every second and fourth Monday of the month. Read the complete agenda below. You can also download the document or make it larger using the controls on the bottom.
