Yard Sale by SGV New Gen Rotary

Yard Sale on Saturday, June 9, at 7am.
Spring is here, and with that brings the annual ritual of cleaning out one’s closets and garages. What to do with all that stuff? Donate it to the newest service club in town, the San Gabriel Valley New Generation Rotary Club.
The SGV New Gen Rotary Club is hosting a Yard Sale Fundraiser on Saturday, June 9, 2012 from 7am to 3pm at the Alhambra First Baptist Church parking lot. The church is located at 101 South Atlantic, just south of Main Street.
You can donate all of your old clothes, toys, furniture, kitchenware, and much more to the club’s yard sale. Donations will be accepted at the First Baptist Church the week of June 4-8 from 9am to 4pm each day.
The community is invited to participate by donating items to be sold, or to come out to the Yard Sale on June 9th and peruse the items, and hopefully find some great treasures to take home.
The SGV New Gen Rotary Club is hosting this event as an introduction to the City of Alhambra and the greater San Gabriel Valley. The Club was formed by the sponsoring Alhambra Club, in order to provide an outlet for younger professionals to become involved with their community and have an opportunity to give back. Rotary Clubs serve their community and the world around them by raising money for a variety of causes.
The San Gabriel Valley New Generation Rotary Club was formed in November of 2011, and with a core group of 30 young men and women, comprised of teachers, attorneys, pastors, and entrepreneurs, the club is dedicated towards serving their community.
