APALC Community Forum: DREAMers and Deferred Action

The Asian Pacific American Legal Center (APALC) is holding a community forum for undocumented youth and parents who want to learn more about the new deferred action policy, which will allow DREAMers to apply for temporary work permits and to be safe from deportation. Lawyers and organizers will provide information regarding the deferred action policy, including: eligibility requirements, what you can do to get ready to apply when the process is announced around mid-August, and how to protect yourself from misinformation. Learn the latest updates regarding deferred action for DREAMers.

Where: APALC Community Room, 1st Floor, 1145 Wilshire Blvd Los Angeles, CA 90017(corner of Wilshire and Lucas, a few blocks west of the 110 freeway)

When: Wednesday, July 11, 2012, 6pm-8pm

Public Transportation: MTA Bus #20 get off Wilshire and Lucas, located a few blocks from the 7th/Metro Center Station.

Where to park: Parking is available on the rooftop; ample street parking as well.
